QD Learning Fall 2025 Speech and Debate Tournament Recap

Students from all four QD Learning campuses gathered for our Fall 2025 Speech and Debate Tournament, competing across storytelling, SPAR, and platform speaking events.

Results — Storytelling: top placements went to students across our Beginner and Intermediate divisions, with several first-time competitors earning top-three finishes.

Results — SPAR: Intermediate and Advanced divisions saw close final rounds, with judges praising the quality of rebuttals this season.

Results — Platform Speaking: students delivered prepared speeches on topics ranging from technology to community service, with standout performances from our Advanced division.

Thank you to our coaches, volunteer judges, and student helpers who made the day possible — tournaments like this only happen because of your time and care.

What students gain from tournaments like this: (1) real audience experience, (2) structured feedback from judges, (3) exposure to peers from other campuses, (4) confidence under time pressure, and (5) a concrete goal to train toward each season.
